MergeLoop

Get started with MergeLoop

Try it

The hosted MergeLoop at https://mergeloop.ai runs the public GitHub App Merge Loop (merge-loop). You bring your own model API key.

  1. Sign in with GitHub at https://mergeloop.ai.
  2. Install the App on your organization or account, and choose its repos. GitHub sends you back to the dashboard.
  3. In Repos, Set up a repo. MergeLoop opens a PR that adds its config file, .mergepatrol/mergepatrol.yml. Merge it, and the repo queues.
  4. In Settings, add an Anthropic or OpenAI API key. Create one for MergeLoop alone, with a spend limit.
  5. Add the mergepatrol label to a PR, or queue it from the dashboard’s Queue page, which lists the open PRs below the queue. The dashboard puts the label on as you, so it takes triage access to the repo.
  6. In You, see your open PRs in every repo, by whose move it is, and the PRs that ask for your review or your team’s, those the queue holds first. Approve, request changes or comment there, as you. A review waits 5 seconds before it goes to GitHub, so you can undo it.

Public repos are free. Private repos cost $15 a seat a month, after a free trial: see Pricing. To run your own, see Run it.
